UX Designer
Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced UX Designer to shape intuitive, end-to-end user experiences for our website and Autodesk Flow Studio, our AI-powered VFX platform. Flow Studio brings visual effects to creators of all levels, with applications extending beyond film and VFX into new creative domains.
In this role, you’ll work closely with product, engineering, machine learning, and computer graphics teams to define user-centered solutions for complex creative workflows. You’ll play a key role in translating advanced technology into experiences that feel simple, clear, and empowering.
At the intersection of film, AI, and cutting-edge technology, this role offers a rare opportunity to work on products that redefine creative workflows. You’ll collaborate with world-class talent across machine learning, computer vision, and computer graphics - while continuously learning and pushing the boundaries of UX in an emerging space.
Responsabilities
Partner with Founders, Product Management, Engineering, ML, and CG teams to define and deliver user-centered product experiences
Lead UX efforts from discovery through delivery, including problem framing, interaction design, and validation
Translate complex technical workflows into intuitive, usable experiences
Create and maintain user flows, wireframes, journey maps, and experience models
Conduct user research, define personas, and run usability testing to inform design decisions
Advocate for user-centered design principles across the product lifecycle
Establish and evolve UX standards, guidelines, and best practices
Stay current on UX methods, tools, and emerging trends
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a UX Designer working on complex digital products
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX thinking and problem-solving
Experience with user research, usability testing, and translating insights into design decisions
Proficiency in UX and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma or similar)
Solid understanding of user-centered design methodologies and interaction design principles
Ability to clearly communicate design rationale to diverse stakeholders
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Background in HCI, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
